Meet Dr. Curd
Dr. Lori A. Curd, DVM
Dr. Curd was born and raised in Fresh Meadows, New York. She received her bachelor's degree in animal science from Cornell University and her veterinary degree from Oklahoma State University. Dr. Curd was the Hospital Director for 5 years at a large corporate 3 doctor practice in San Antonio where she gained the interest in becoming a practice owner herself. Her dream became reality when in 2002, she had the opportunity to be the owner of Ellison Drive Animal Hospital. Though the scope of the practice includes medicine, surgery, treatment and preventative care of your family pet, she enjoys the opportunity to build the relationships with the pet’s family and feel part in educating them. She has a vested interest in being the family’s “other Doctor”.
Dr. Curd’s hobbies include playing the guitar, fishing and riding motorcycles. She especially values time she can spend taking family vacations with her husband, Dave and three children. Her husband’s military service and multiple deployments encourage her to cherish the time they have together. She is very active with her church and serves in Fuel (junior high/high school student ministry) and on the Worship Ministry Team.
